1. My mentor is a "partner in my education" because she provides me with insight into being a physician's assistant. This furthers my knowledge and educates me about topics regarding the medical field.
2. One of the goals that I have accomplished so far is broadening my career options. I have now limited my options down to three because I have developed a deeper interest in these specialties.I wish to elaborate more on this goal and make a concrete decision on what I what to do in the future before I graduate from high school. 3. Throughout my time at my internship site, I do favors for my intern. For example, I will ask the nurse insurance related questions or find out a phone number for a medical office closest to the patient. This makes my intern's life easier because she doesn't have to worry about those tasks because she has far more important tasks to worry about.

I also mentor at a family clinic, called Georgia Family Care. Similarly, there are times when the patient load is very low, but it is very important to keep an optimistic mindset. Most of the time, I am reviewing the patients' charts and determining treatment options with my mentor, do you do this too?
My mentorship relates to my long-term career goals because I am planning on being a physician's assistant but, I am unsure on what I want to specialize in. This explains why I am mentorship in the medical field. I have learned many new skills throughout my mentorship that I probably would not have learned if it wasn't for this opportunity. I have learned that punctuality is very important. I have always known this, but this experience has heightened this idea because you never know what you could be missing out on if you're late. I have also learned how to make the most out of everything. Even when there is nothing else for me to do, I still find a way to stay positive and be proactive in some manner. I have also learned about different types of medicines, and how to read the medical charts. The culture of my mentorship in rather laid back because of the small amount of patients coming into and out of the office. The interactions are full of compassion because the doctor's primary goal is to help the patient.
